Dudes.. These are the best you can buy, for the price you pay.
Hey guys. I am one of those girls who has had short hair for quite a while, cos i do like my short hair, but i love to wear extensions now and again for a change!
If you have short or long hair and are thinking about buying some extensions Remy Hair is a really good hair extension to buy. I advise yous all to stay away from English stalls that sell extensions for around £40 pound in them little packets, because a lot of girls have bought these expecting them to be great and they really are not. They mix the hair with 70% human hair and then 30% synthetic, and as most of us dye our hair these are really no good! If you are Blonde like myself you will be dying your extensions from these stalls and some of it will suddenly go a peachy pink color and i am sure you have seen girls walk around with this problem.
You really need to make sure that you are getting the quality for your money, and there are loads of places other than a silly stall in the middle of a shopping centre where you can get hair extensions!
When it comes to extensions, I have had so many I know quite a lot about these things.. In no specific order..
When it comes to purchasing them, get the length that you want, they come in inches the most popular is 18-24 inches. I usually get 20" simply because i cut into them.
The two things that i can not stand when it comes to girls and extensions is when girls put them in stupidly, and you can see them, you can see the lines that they are on and even sometimes the clips if they have their hair up. This is why you need to make sure that the extensions is clipped in right beneath the root, this is so it gives your hair a natural look, and when you are wearing them up put them in like you want them to sit, so rather than putting them on top of your hair lift your hair up and clip them underneath, this is how you avoid seeing the clips.
Secondly when girls have a disconnection between their own hair and the extension because the extension is simply far too long and thick. If you are considering wearing extensions please just snip into them, go to the hair dressers if you can't do it yourself, just when you are going for your next hair cut. Extensions are meant to look natural, they look hideous if they are not put in properly, and you can determine whether your hair looks bad or good.
When you come to buying extensions a lot of girls wonder what colour to buy, this is when the stalls can come in handy. Go to a stall and seem like you're interested in buying some, and ask them for the number of the packet that best suits you. My color is #613, this is a bleach blonde, and when i get them they are practically bright yellow. When buying extensions they have been chemically treated - cleaned, dyed, straightened/curled, so they aren't like dirty, and Remy hair is 100% Indian Hair. It does seem unethical and really unfair but, they do get paid whether it be a little of a lot I still feel bad when ever i think about it :(
But anyway, you can die these extensions, and you can buy products to keep them in good tact, personally i don't and my extensions go ratty after about a year. All i do is wash them, and when i wash them put a treatment on them and then rinse slightly so the conditioner is left in a little. This keeps them smelling nice and they are so much more easier to style.
Top tips to conclude
*Get them cut, so they are in a long style, but there is not a disconnection between your hair and the extension.
*Make sure you are buying the right colour.
*Dye the extensions when you dye your hair to keep the right colour.
*Wash and brush them regulary.
*Use heat protection on them.
*Try to allow them to dry naturally.
*Try not to thicken them in hairspray (even though i do it does brush out)
